WM. Everett Seymore, Attorney at Law

Wm. Everett Seymore, the founder of the Seymore Law Firm, has practiced in the South Plains since founding the Firm in 1981. Everett has fought for the rights of his clients for over thirty years, representing individuals who have been charged with a crime, have been involved in family-related legal issues, or have dealt with the serious injury or loss of a loved one.

Everett graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor in Business Administration in 1974. Everett subsequently attended and graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Law with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1977. Everett began his legal career in the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the State. Everett practiced in both county and district court prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases.
In 1981, Everett left the District Attorney’s Office in order to defend the rights of individuals accused by the State of committing criminal acts. Since then, he has defended individuals charged with crimes in the state, county, and federal courts throughout the State of Texas. Everett has defended clients charged with crimes ranging from driving while intoxicated (DWI) to aggravated assault, drug possession, and murder. Everett founded the Firm on the core belief that all men are presumed innocent, and the principle of defending the rights of his clients with integrity, passion, and results. Everett lives by these beliefs and principles when representing every client. Due to his service and dedication, Everett was recognized as a 25-year member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
Everett has also dedicated a large part of his professional life to representing people facing difficult marital and family issues and disputes. Whether dealing with divorce, child custody, paternity, property division, or adoption, Everett vigorously and passionately represents each client.
